Discovered in 1894, in front of the porch of the grotte du Pape, at Brassempouy, Landes, the famous ‘Hooded Lady’ is one of the oldest portraits by the hand of Man. The facial expression somewhat enigmatic is possessed of a true beauty, suffused with a great serenity.
